this hotel is an ancient relic, yet they expect you to pay deposit for non-smoking nonsense! also, the staff definitely seemed like they had better things to do than check me in. and here i thought a king room would mean some extra pampering, but no special treatment at all! i almost gave a good review, but couldn’t.

This place really surprised me. The rooms were updated and super comfy. I loved that it was close to so many fast food options, making late-night snacks easy. The staff was always around to help out. Definitely a great budget find! 😄

Arriving early with my dog, I felt anxious waiting in the heat. However, the staff quickly prepared a room for us, and I truly appreciated their effort considering they were short-staffed. The room was clean with comfortable bedding, which was a plus. On the downside, the hotel had a strong dog smell at the front office, which was off-putting. Additionally, noise from neighboring guests was quite disturbing, especially late at night. While the amenities were decent, the unpleasant ambiance and sounds made the overall experience a bit uncomfortable.

Inability to switch TV inputs means you’re stuck with a limited selection of cable channels—makes for a boring evening if you were hoping to catch a game or plug in a laptop. Woken up at inconvenient hours by loud conversations in the hallway and doors slamming gives the place a less-than-peaceful vibe. A $50 deposit for a non-smoking room feels off, especially with no clear indication when it gets refunded—still waiting on that.

The location was a hit with the kids, close to parks and family-friendly activities. We loved exploring the nearby Columbia County Performing Arts Center. Although the room was basic, it was enough for our stay with our two little ones.
